We\u2019re excited to welcome our international colleagues to ASPEN26! If you\u2019re traveling from outside the United States, please start your travel planning now!<\/strong>\u00a0Many visitors will need a U.S. visa, and the process\u2014including scheduling an in-person interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate\u2014can take time.<\/p>\n

Please follow the steps below when going through the visa application process.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div> \n\n\n\n

Check Visa Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Determine whether you need a visa to enter the U.S. for ASPEN26. If you are from a country participating in the Visa Waiver Program<\/a><\/strong> (VWP), you may not need a visa, but you will still need to apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization<\/a> <\/strong>(ESTA) before traveling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need a visa, please follow these steps:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Schedule Your Interview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

ASPEN strongly suggests that all international travelers schedule face-to-face interviews as soon as possible.<\/strong> There is no required documentation to schedule your visa interview; you do not need to be registered, have a hotel reservation, or have a travel itinerary to make an appointment. Your appointment should take place after you register for ASPEN26<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Register for the Meeting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before the scheduled visa appointment date, make sure that you are registered for the ASPEN26 conference. See registration information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Request an Invitation Letter from ASPEN<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To request an invitation letter from ASPEN, you must first register and pay in full for ASPEN26. Requests for invitation letters will only be accepted by fax or email. The following information must be included in your email message requesting a letter of invitation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
